Morning Star Christian Academy is a Christian Private School that is qualified to teach Kindergarten to Grade 12. The school started in 1994 as an answer to the needs of the parents in Morning Star Ministries, who wanted their children to be able to receive a Christian education in the area. The parents worked faithfully with the leaders of the church to open the facility in the summer of 1994. We do have students that attend from other churches and the school is open to all who want to receive a Christian education. We are a Qualified Independent School and we follow the Saskatchewan Curriculum. We also use a program called Accelerated Christian Education, through which we better understand our students. They are put through a series of tests to discern their learning levels and the learning gaps that need to be addressed. We approach each student according to their level of need.
Our school is not large, however being smaller gives us the advantage of spending more time with each student and maintain a family-like atmosphere.
